The main building is very impressive, but once you step outside and look across the grounds, you'll be amazed at the beauty of the grounds. Trees encircle a large pathway that you can walk along to lead you to the memorial. Inside the circle, depending on season, are colorful wild flowers and a pond teeming with wildlife. Outside of the circle you can see many new seedlings that have recently been planted and they plan on reforesting much of the area.

Absolutely beautiful. The indoor part is very educational and emotional. The walk down the trail to view the wall and where the plane crashed is beautiful. Its worth the drive, spend the day and never forget 9/11.

You don't have to walk the entire path to go to the memorial, you can drive past the main national park building to a second parking lot closer to the memorial if you don't want to or can't walk.

Wonderful tribute to the heroes of Flight 93. The exhibits are well curated, helping the visitor get a better sense of how events unfolded. The atmosphere is somber and thought provoking; we begin to appreciate the greatness hidden inside people who we think are just regular folks. The viewing deck is simple but effective. But by far the best feature of the memorial is the complete absence of food or beverages. This is a place for introspection, not a picnic. (Alert: Google Maps took us to the old approach road, which is now closed. Please look for and follow the signs, and save yourself a half hour.)

A personal discussion between a ranger and my child was a great effort and one that she will not soon forget. He even gave us his card and told her to reach out. What a great experience!

Absolutely wonderful experience here. This is a huge memorial that allows you to take time and reflect on the victory of the American spirit that prevailed here. It is absolutely in the very middle of nowhere, but we needed to pay respect and we're happy we did.

The Flight 93 Memorial is a poignant and yet touching place to pay your respects.

2nd time I've been here and they've done a fantastic job from when we first visited. We came a 3yr old and a 5 month old when it was 30° outside. It was a challenge and we didn’t get to spend as much time as we would have liked (especially outside), but we’re happy we checked it out. God bless those people that lost their lives that day and their families.

The main park building is a simple structure with large walls and a black pathway that designate the flight path of flight 93. Inside there are artifacts, timelines, and other educational displays to give an in-depth overview of the events that took place.

At the end of the pathway you’ll encounter the memorial. Individual granite(?) Slabs engraved with each person's name from Flight 93. The names are also aligned to follow the flight path.

They’ve done a spectacular job honoring and memorializing the brave souls from flight 93 in a natural, stark, and minimalist way.

The Flight 93 Memorial is unlike anything I've ever been to before. While it's a somber experience, they’ve respectfully taken a heartbreaking event and created a beautiful environment that pays homage to those that lost their lives.
